Product of India.
Black peppercorns (Piper nigrum, 'kali mirchi' in Hindi) condense the intense heat of the South Indian sun into their fiery little fruits, and are one of the oldest known folk remedies.
Traditionally used for:
- enhancing bio-availability
- aiding digestion and circulation
- maintaining respiratory and joint health
- relieving gas and congestion
- treating dental issues
We use black pepper to add a pleasant heat, but also to act as a 'carrier', transporting the goodness of the tea and other spices into the body more efficiently
